Our Story

Why we started Elev8

Adolescents, youth, and women often face barriers at the very stages of life that shape their confidence, opportunities, and choices. Early support during these years can change lifelong outcomes, but individual effort alone is not enough.

Elev8 Impact Foundation was built to bridge these gaps, helping people build self-belief, agency, and practical pathways forward, while strengthening the institutions and services around them.

It began with a set of stubborn questions: why do so many bright students fall silent in the classroom? Why do skilling programmes stall at the last mile? Why does support arrive only after a crisis, and not before? Those questions became a mandate to build differently, and that mandate now shapes everything from our school partnerships to the products we ship.

The Team Behind The Work

Different disciplines, one conviction

Elev8 is built by a young, multidisciplinary team, Kishan Kumar Jha, Megha Mukherji, and Kanan Arora, who together bring expertise in research, systems design, public health, education, mental wellbeing, and operations, and are guided by a circle of senior advisors from the education ecosystem and mental-wellbeing practice. It's a deliberate mix that argues with itself in the best way: one voice asks “where's the evidence?”, another “will a teacher with sixty students and ten spare minutes actually use this?”, and a third “what happens after the pilot ends and we're gone?” Every tool we ship has to satisfy all three.

The result: tools that fit the timetable and a teacher's real bandwidth, that a principal can defend to parents, and that leave a school more capable, not more dependent, after we step back.

Every program starts with the research, peer-reviewed studies, global best practices, and locally validated insights. We don't guess what works; we build on what's proven.

We build structured tools, workbooks, board games, platforms, training modules, not loosely defined "programs." A product can be replicated, quality-controlled, and scaled.
